All aspects of an information/communication system built or used to help fight the pandemic.

We are using a broad definition that includes:

  1. technology components, including:

    • technology that may run on an App User’s mobile phone (e.g. iOS or Andriod app), which we call Smartphone Component;
    • any affiliated website;
    • servers in the cloud, called Cloud Components;
    • third-party services used by some component of the App and the like;
  2. operations components, such as:

    • how users are onboarded;
    • how passwords are reset;
    • how backups are performed and the like; and
  3. governance components, such as:

    • policies on privacy and other matters;
    • how decisions are made about design tradeoffs, future features and the like.

Not all Apps may contain all aspects listed here.
